“Many students do not think critically about the sources they select from online sites. We designed and implemented a four year research strategy at my high school that includes Boolean logic, searching for sources, determining the sources credibility, how to differentiate primary and secondary sources, checking how often the material is updated (if ever), etc. I teach mostly seniors and find that most do question the validity of blogs versus articles citing expert opinion, but that does not translate necessarily to them choosing better sources or seeking to find answers that aren’t already provided for them in some way. These USES are described in more detail below, and you can see them in the diagram.  When you study it, 8 times you'll find "using" or "Use" or "use".  And when you move your mouse over the "1 2 3 3" boxes added to it, you can see four isolation diagrams that show only the problem-solving actions for USE #1 ("using" to make Information ) and USE #2 ("Use" to do Evaluation ) and USE #3 ("use" to guide Generation in one Science Cycle & two Design Cycles).

This doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with the answer you have given – just that the interviewers are trying to find out how you have arrived at your solution to the problem. They may also be testing you out to see how you cope with pressure and how well you can argue a point.
Although the situation is hypothetical, if you have been faced with any similar situation in real life you can use this, and the way that you handled it then, to support your answer.
