The Seamus Heaney HomePlace opens on 30 September and aims to be a home for inspiration, echoing the life, literature and legacy of the world renowned poet, scholar, translator, teacher and Nobel Laureate, and to take visitors on a journey through Seamus Heaney’s life. An interactive exhibition explores his work and the rhythm, rhyme and routine of poetry. HomePlace also features a re-creation of the poet’s Dublin study. Throughout, personal artefacts enrich the authenticity of the experience. A multi-arts and cultural programme will be centred in the building’s performance space. Find out more here .
