Solutions to the Abortion Problem in America

Abortion in America is a huge issue that is causing much turmoil between the communities in America. Some people feel this way and some people feel another. I am personally for pro-choice, which means I am against abortion unless it is to save a mothers life due to medical problems. Through research I found that there are many things available that are being done to try and cut the rate of abortion in America and yet I feel that there is still so much more that can be done. Just to name a few things that are being done: pray, sidewalk counseling (slightly goes along with prayer) this is where they try to convince the mother not to have an abortion one last time right before they go into the clinic, networking, volunteer at local CPC, and picket abortion mills, protestors stand outside of abortion clinics and with signs and pictures to give their opinions on abortion.

The government is now getting involved against abortions by trying to make abortions illegal in America. President Bush has signed a law that bans partial birth abortion. Troy Newman, the director of Operation Rescue, says that there is still a loop hole in this law. He says “it fallaciously includes a loop-hole exception to save the mother’s life that many abortionists have routinely abused when included in other legislation.” The government getting involved is a great thing. Making abortions illegal is bound to make the rate of abortion lower. Newman also includes in his article “Baby Steps to Victory” that there are other things to do with a child if the mother does not want it. He states, “If you are going to deliver a child 90% prior to sucking its brains why not fully deliver the child and place it up fo...

...oing on. We need some one to step up and make the issue known to all Americans. Most are too afraid to talk about this due to the fact that they don’t want to be looked upon badly for talking about an issue that is usually a “hush-hush” topic. So I encourage you to please stand up and say what you think, feel, and believe towards this issue and help us all fight to stop abortions in America before it becomes a tragic epidemic like teen pregnancies.

End of 2012, sick as ever since 2005 I watched a movie at 2am and wanted to take a sip of an omega-oil supplement. I took a big sip but from the wrong bottle: 5/10 Lugols’s Iodine – undiluted! Over an hour with the poisoning hot line I knew that there is nothing to worry about taking a 30mL dose instead of 3 drops (advice: eat a piece of bread if you like . . ) . . and I felt better while still on the phone. After nearly a decade I had found something that was able to make a difference within an hour. A 30mL dose instead of 3 drops – that’s 200 times more and it made all the difference! Naturally I dropped down to a lower dosage again (6 drops – sometimes a double of that) . . after a week of Iodine abstinence. Since then every year showed another element to be elemental to my health at high dosage levels. 2013 – Magnesium, 2014 – Potassium, 2015 – Zink, Selenium and charcoal (Carbon) . .

In an effort to modernize, Yale will no longer use the terms "freshman" and "underclassmen" and will instead adopt gender-neutral terminology, such as "first-year" and "upper-level students." University officials still anticipate students and faculty to use the old terminology, since they're "deeply ingrained in our everyday language and in Yale's history." The new terminology can be found in the Undergraduate Regulations and the First-Year Handbook and is expected to appear in all Yale College's publications and communications by the start of the 2018-2019 academic year. The effort to phase out the older terminology is "a piece of a larger movement to reflect the diversity of college campuses" and also in part because the "two words in particular are gendered," according to Jennifer Keup, Director Of the National Resource for the First-Year-Experience and students in Transition.
